  • Mr. H. Roy Shipes, President, CEO and Chairman, has over 30 years experience in the mining industry in senior management positions with companies around the world. He has worked extensively in copper, zinc and precious metals, as well as engineering, construction and project development. Positions held include Vice President and General Manager of Southern Peru Copper Company, General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Ok Tedi Mining Limited, founder and President of American Pacific Mining, Breakwater Resources, Transoceanic Trading Company, Arimetco International, Western States Engineering, Western Gold Resources, Western Chemicals and American International Trading Company.
  • Mr. John A. McKinney, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has performed in senior management positions in the mining industry for the past 20 years. He was president of Arisur, Inc., Senior Vice President and Director of Arimetco International, Director of Breakwater Resources, Transoceanic Trading Company and Western States Engineering. He co-founded Western States Engineering, Western Capital, Suramco Metals, Western Gold Resources and Western Manufacturing.
  • Mr. Matthew Lang, Vice President Administration, Shareholder Relations and Corporate Secretary, has spent the last five years in Administration and Logistics Management where he coordinates the flow of materials required by on-going operations, from purchasing through delivery. He manages the general administration of the Corporation, including corporate administrative maintenance and reporting, coordinates shareholder meetings, director meetings and manages shareholder relations.
  • Mr. Daniel R. Dominguez, Controller and Chief Accountant, has spent 16 years in senior accounting positions and has been a partner in his own accounting firm for much of this time. He is fluent in Spanish and has done considerable work for Phelps Dodge in Chile.
 
  • Michael S Harrington, Director, earned a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Iona College, New York, in 1956 and then pursued a long and varied career in the mining industry, retiring in 1994 as the Vice-President of Corporate Development of Cyprus Mining Company.  In that role, over a period of 20 years he was responsible for identifying and negotiating major acquisitions and dispositions of Coal, Gold, Iron Ore, Industrial Minerals and Copper assets.  He also served in an operating role in a number of the acquired businesses.  As President of the Cyprus gold mining subsidiary, he directed and managed one of the first major foreign gold-mining investments in Russia.  He was subsequently contracted by a number of industry investors to manage their initiatives there, including Kinross Gold Corporation, Echo Bay Mines Limited, Pan American Silver Corporation, Gippsland Resources Inc., Armada Gold Corp. and KWG Resources Inc.  Mike is a director of several companies including KWG and is currently its Vice-Chairman. He became a Director of International Silver Company in 2007.

  • H. E. Dunham, Director, has had a distinguished career with major mining companies, Atlas Precious Metals, Inc., Anglo American, Plc., Anglo Gold, Ltd., De Beers, Ltd., Perez Companc Corporation Energy/Mining, Inc., Suramco, Inc., Phelps Dodge Corporation, Rio Tinto;  President, Chief Executive Officer, Director, Suramco, Inc. June1994 to June1996.  Mr. Dunham held various operations, management and executive positions with Phelps Dodge Corporation, including,  Chino Mines Company, President, General Manager Phelps Dodge Chino, Inc., President, New Mexico Operations from 1987 to 1994; Morenci Mining, Inc., President, General Manager Phelps Dodge Morenci, Inc. from 1977-1987 and technical, financial, managerial positions with Rio Tinto, Plc. from 1974 to 1977. Mr. Dunham holds a B.S. in Mining Engineering; B.S. in Geological Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. Mr. Dunham attended International  Management Program and studies at Hague Academy of International Business Law, London Business School, Universidad de Salamanca, Colorado School of Mines, and Advanced International Senior Management Program Harvard University.

  • Mr. Russell Alley, Director, is a highly experienced manager of mining operations and has extensive industry experience in operating projects similar to those of CS Mining. He has industry-recognized expertise in unit cost control and productivity. While at Southern Peru Copper, he formulated operations and maintenance plans during Peru’s worst economic crisis with 10,000% inflation and severe political instability generating corporate profits above forecast while maintaining full production rate. In that project, he directed the feasibility/engineering study and gained BoD approval of a $100mm copper dump leach SX-EW project which was the first of its kind in the company/country. Mr. Alley also previously managed the start-up and successful operation of the Franke mine, completed exploration, pre-feasibility and an economic study for the Sierra Gorda property, and turned around non-performing assets in Zambia, increasing copper output 50% and silver output 100%. In an executive capacity, he successfully built and/or operated processing operations in Chile, Canada, Zambia, Peru and the United States. He is a skilled metallurgist experienced in the implementation of quality management processes and the processing of skarn ores.
